Alexis Carr

Alexis is a St. Louis native and received her BFA in studio art (with a painting emphasis) and minor in Art History from Missouri Western State University. She is pursuing a Master’s in Aart history and archaeology. Over the course of her studies, she has held internship positions at multiple art institutions including the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C., the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, and Artforum Magazine. Her academic interests include nineteenth-century American art, contemporary Black feminist art, and museum studies.
