Caroline Snowden

Medicine | Entering Year: 2017

Caroline is a medical student at Washington University in St. Louis. Originally from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, she left home for the Northeast while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from Princeton University. Immediately after college, she began medical school with a strong interest in combining clinical practice with computational research methods. She is currently working to grow this passion as she takes a brief field trip in between her third and fourth years of medical school to spend a year researching cutaneous cancer genomics at Northwestern in Chicago. Caroline is an avid reader of genres ranging from biography to fantasy fiction, and in addition to improving her medical knowledge, she looks forward to spending her remaining time in the midwest playing with her string quartet and curating her ever-expanding collection of soup recipes.
