Provost’s Interdisciplinary Grant Program

Welcome to the 2010-2011 academic year.

With parking lots full, students back in class, and the weather turning cooler, I am looking forward to another successful year.

One of the strengths of our educational mission is our interdisciplinary work at the frontiers of disciplines and schools. I am very interested in ways the Office of the Provost can enhance and emphasize our efforts in this area. Toward that end, I’d like to announce the Cross-School Interdisciplinary Teaching Grant Program, which has been developed by the provost’s faculty fellows. Knowing that our faculty represent our deepest asset, this program aims to encourage faculty from different schools to collaborate on course offerings at all levels. I hope you will review the program’s description and begin thinking about possible submissions you and your colleagues might make.

If you have any questions about the RFP or the program itself, please email me at Thank you, and I look forward to receiving proposals in the coming months.
