Search for Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Diversity

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an exceptional academic leader, scholar and administrator to serve as vice provost for faculty affairs and diversity (VPFAD). The VPFAD plays a critical role on the university’s senior leadership team and partners with me to focus on a number of core university initiatives. The primary responsibilities of this position are to strengthen recruitment, retention, and support of faculty and to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion faculty programming.

The search committee will be chaired by Vijay Ramani, Roma B. & Raymond H. Wittcoff Distinguished University Professor; and staffed by Lisa Siddens, Assistant Provost for Strategic Projects and Appointments. In addition to Ramani, other committee members include:

  • Nicole Hudson, Assistant Vice Chancellor
  • Todd Milbourn, Hubert C. and Dorothy R. Moog Professor of Finance
  • Fred Ssewamala, William E. Gordon Distinguished Professor
  • Adia Wingfield, Mary Tileston Hemenway Professor of Arts & Sciences
