In January of this year, I asked for your comments about what ideas are essential for a Washington University undergraduate education. Many of you wrote with excellent thoughts. Today I am writing about further work on this subject.
Last fall, at the request of James E. McLeod, Vice Chancellor for Students, I appointed a Task Force for Undergraduate Education Across the University. The task force was charged with addressing the goals of undergraduate education for all students that might go beyond those reflected in curricular requirements. The committee’s diligent work resulted in a final report and a number of recommendations. For more information about the task force, contact the chair, Mark Rollins, Professor of Philosophy and Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (email@example.com).
As always, your feedback is most welcome.
