Asia Hayes

Asia is a joint Master of Social Work and Law student, where her focus is exploring how social work values can inform legal practice. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Alabama in 2018 where she earned  a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and Spanish. Prior to entering the joint degree program, Asia served as an AmeriCorps volunteer and Fulbright Scholar. Asia’s academic interest consist of social justice and economic development Through her joint degree, Asia seeks to serve communities through trauma-informed lawyering.
