Jacquelyn Coats was born and raised in inInkster, Michigan .  She received her BA from University of Michigan and her MSW & MPH from the Brown School at Wash U. Jacquelyn’s work experience includes serving as a health educator and evaluator for community based-participatory research programs, an evaluator for an organization at the University of Michigan, an Evaluation Fellow at the CDC in Atlanta, GA. Jacquelyn’s research interests include mental and physical health disparities among Black Americans, racial discrimination and organizational climate.
