Jean Brownell

Jean Brownell is pursuing a PhD in the Energy, Environment and Chemical Engineering department. She seeks to research water system quality. More specifically, she would like to focus on water cleanliness and sustainability through an equity lens with outcomes that influence policy. Prior to entering this program, Jean attended the University of Rochester where she received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. This was followed by five years working at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis in the Utilities, Brewing, and Quality departments, both in the local brewery and in the North American Zone offices.
