Dr. Linda X. Wu, DO, MBA is the co-founder and CEO of MiDoc Inc., a medical device startup that taps into the third dimension of telehealth, the physical exam. Dr. Wu started out as a systems design and human factors engineer before pursuing osteopathic medicine (DO) from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went to complete a pediatric residency with a global health track at Emory University in Atlanta. Her passion for healthcare entrepreneurship led her to study an MBA at Olin Business School. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine and works as a pediatrician at Washington University / St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Some of her other responsibilities include the Innovation Pathway Lead at the school of medicine, lecturer at Olin Business school, and the MD/MBA Program Liaison. 

  

Dr. Wu’s passion for advancing patient care and healthcare innovation led her to found MiDoc, an at-home remote heart and lung physical exam device to be used in conjunction with telemedicine. By allowing patients the comfort of staying at home, yet providing the diagnostic tool of a physical exam to physicians, MiDoc allows for improved diagnostic accuracy, healthcare access, convenience, and affordability. Dr. Wu grew up in four countries (China, Sweden, Canada, and the U.S.) and has lived in 15+ cities. Her hobbies include learning about other cultures and exploring the world, swimming, and dancing.
