Richard Omoniyi-Shoyoola

Richard is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a BA in political science. Prior to matriculating to Washington University School of Law, he served as an advisor and coordinator for civic engagement programs at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, including a partnership with the Cook County Jail. More recently, he served as a project assistant at a Chicago law firm focused on low-income housing development. His interest in the law centers primarily on issues related to the ongoing problems of mass incarceration in the American penal system and racial inequity in the housing market.
